Governor Greg Abbott has announced the reappointment of Keith Miears to the Commercial Oyster Mariculture Advisory Board. Miears will serve on the board until February 1, 2030. The Board is responsible for regulating the commercial oyster mariculture industry in the region.
Keith Miears, a resident of Rockport, is retired from a career in the tech industry that spanned over three decades. He holds the position of president of the Texas Oyster Mariculture Association and is also a board member of FlatsWorthy. Miears earned his degree in electronics from the DeVry Institute.
