Governor Greg Abbott has made new appointments to the OneStar National Service Commission. Grace Yocum, a student at Texas A&M University, has been appointed for a term ending on March 15, 2026. Reappointments include Ashleigh Feuerbacher, Annette Juba, Mike Morath, and Corina Sadler for terms concluding on March 15, 2028. The Commission focuses on promoting volunteerism in Texas and oversees AmeriCorps programs in the state.
Grace Yocum is majoring in management with a minor in nonprofit and public service studies. She is involved with several initiatives including an internship at the Texas A&M Foundation and serving as chair of Client and Community Affairs at 180 Degrees Consulting.
Ashleigh Feuerbacher serves as vice president and chief project manager of the Stephenville Economic Development Authority.
