Rep. Chip Roy, serving Texas' 21st district in the U.S. Congress since 2019, has made several recent statements via social media. Born in Bethesda, Maryland in 1972 and currently residing in Austin, Roy is a graduate of the University of Virginia and holds a JD from the University of Texas-Austin.

On March 21, 2025, Rep. Chip Roy's press office shared a tweet providing additional information: "MORE: https://t.co/gS9Va2Z8BU".

The same day, at 18:06 UTC, Rep. Roy announced new legislative efforts aimed at education reform: "NEW: Rep. Roy introduces bills that will EMPOWER parents and students and DEFUND schools that promote racial division."

Later on March 21, at 20:48 UTC, he commented on criminal activities attributed to the Tren de Aragua gang: "Good. Tren de Aragua has ravaged American communities for four years with dangerous drugs, crime, and human trafficking and smuggling. Time for these gangbangers to be dealt with like the terrorist they are."
