U.S. Representative Chip Roy, currently serving Texas' 21st congressional district, has recently made statements through social media addressing issues related to immigration and law enforcement. Representing Texas since 2019, Roy utilizes his platform to communicate with the public on ongoing political matters.

On April 1, 2025, Roy announced his upcoming appearance on The Ingraham Angle alongside Senator Mike Lee on Twitter. The tweet read, "Coming up next on @IngrahamAngle with @BasedMikeLee! Tune in!"

The following day, on April 2, 2025, Rep. Roy shared his remarks from the television appearance. Addressing his views on immigration policy and Democratic opponents, he stated, "Rep. Roy on @IngrahamAngle: 'Democrats want our country at the hands of violent gangs. They want illegals running the streets. They want illegals to be able to vote.'"

Later, on the same day, Roy highlighted the recent achievements of the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) under the Trump administration. He referenced the agency's enforcement actions with the statement, "ICE have ARRESTED over 113,000 illegal aliens and conducted over 100,000 DEPORTATIONS. The Trump admin has PRIORITZED interior enforcement. Let’s keep enforcement going!""
