Of the 47,728 students attending Comal County schools, 45.2% were white. Hispanic students comprised the second-largest ethnic group in the county, making up 44.5% of the student body.
In the previous school year, white students were also the most represented group in Comal County school districts, comprising 46.2% of the student body.
