Roger Williams highlights local sports success and critiques national energy policy

Rep. Roger Williams, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Texas' 25th district since 2013, recently shared updates on social media regarding local achievements and national energy policies. Williams, who was born in Evanston, Illinois in 1949 and currently resides in Weatherford, has been an active voice in Congress following his graduation from Texas Christian University in 1972.

On February 6, 2025, Rep. Williams congratulated the Gordon Longhorns for their accomplishment as Division 1 State Football Champions. He noted that "the team finished the season with a perfect record of 15 wins and zero loses."

In another post dated February 7, 2025, Rep. Williams addressed energy policies by stating that "Americans are tired of the Green New Deal agenda that made us dependent on foreign dictators for energy." He further mentioned efforts by @HouseGOP to enhance U.S. energy production to reduce costs for American families and businesses.

On February 9, 2025, he encouraged constituents to stay informed about his activities by signing up for his e-newsletter through his website. In this update, he invited followers not to miss out on "this week's update on my work serving #TX25!"
