Rep. Chip Roy, who has been serving in the U.S. Congress representing Texas' 21st district since 2019, recently made several announcements through his press office's social media account.

On January 31, 2025, Rep. Roy's office called for the repeal of the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances (FACE) Act. The tweet simply stated: "Repeal the FACE Act. #HR589".

Later that day, at 20:43 UTC, Rep. Roy highlighted healthcare reform as a priority by tweeting about reintroducing legislation alongside Senator Ted Cruz. He wrote: "If we want to Make America Healthy Again — if we want to make care truly affordable — the answer is healthcare freedom." He further elaborated on the initiative to expand health savings accounts and empower American patients with control over their healthcare decisions.

Immediately following this post, another tweet was shared providing additional information about the Personalized Care Act through a link: "More: https://t.co/OaTxRj6N6o".
