On January 21, 2025, Rep. Williams expressed his approval of President Trump's initial actions by stating: "President Trump has reversed four years of failures on day one. The golden age of America has begun. Thank you, @POTUS! "
The following day, January 22, 2025, he emphasized the importance of border security with a post saying: "During his first few days in the White House, @POTUS has made it clear that border security is national security. "
Later that same day, Rep. Williams commented on energy policy under the new administration by stating: "Under @POTUS, we will unleash the power of American energy."
