Valor Public Schools District Education: 2 American Indian students were enrolled in schools in 2022-23 school year

There were two American Indian students enrolled in Valor Public Schools District in the 2022-23 school year, 100% more than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Data showed that Valor Public Schools District welcomed 2,158 students during the 2022-23 school year. Among them, American Indian students comprised 0.1% of the student body to be one of the least represented ethnicities in the district.

Valor Public Schools District roughly covers schools within Travis County and has a main office in Austin.

Both schools in Valor Public Schools District enrolled one American Indian students in the 2022-23 school year.

The Texas education system is currently torn between public schools and taxpayer-funded private schools.

Critics argue that private schools use funds that should go to the public school system, while private school advocates claim they’re offering better education for more Texas students.
