Enrollment Analysis: white students comprised 53.4% of Valor Public Schools District's student body in 2022-23 school year

There were 1,153 white students enrolled in Valor Public Schools District in the 2022-23 school year, 42.3% more than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Data showed that Valor Public Schools District welcomed 2,158 students during the 2022-23 school year. Among them, white students comprised 53.4% of the student body to be one of the most represented ethnicities in the district.

Valor Public Schools District roughly covers schools within Travis County and has a main office in Austin.

Among the two schools in Valor Public Schools District, Valor South Austin recorded the highest enrollment of white students in the 2022-23 school year, with a total of 483 students.

The Texas education system is currently torn between public schools and taxpayer-funded private schools.

Critics argue that private schools use funds that should go to the public school system, while private school advocates claim they’re offering better education for more Texas students.
