Governor Abbott Announces New Crystal Window And Door Systems Manufacturing Facility in Mansfield

Governor Greg Abbott revealed that Crystal Window and Door Systems TX, LTD. is set to establish a cutting-edge manufacturing facility and regional corporate headquarters in Mansfield. The project, which is expected to generate 504 new jobs and over $121 million in capital investment, has received a Texas Enterprise Fund (TEF) grant of $3,150,000 along with a $15,000 Veteran Created Job Bonus. Governor Abbott commended the company's decision, stating, "'Made in Texas' is a powerful global brand, and I congratulate Crystal Window and Door Systems on this significant investment in our great state."

Senator Brian Birdwell expressed his excitement for the development, stating, "This grant will support the creation of several hundred jobs and opportunities for the citizens in this community, and it represents a tremendous capital investment in Mansfield. I am proud that this company decided to choose Mansfield as their next location to expand, and I want to welcome them to the great state of Texas."

Representative David Cook also extended his congratulations to Crystal Window and Door Systems, emphasizing the impact of the investment on the local economy. He said, "My sincere thanks to Governor Abbott and Economic Development & Tourism Executive Director Adriana Cruz for their steadfast support of fostering an economy where Texas businesses can thrive."

Company Chairman and Founder Thomas Chen shared his journey of starting the company in 1990 and expressed his enthusiasm for bringing their expertise to Texas. On the other hand, President Steve Chen highlighted the company's successful track record and its commitment to contributing to the Texas economy by creating job opportunities and providing quality products to local builders and developers.

Mansfield City Manager Joe Smolinski and Mayor Michael Evans both expressed their confidence in the partnership, with Smolinski stating, "Mansfield is the perfect home for the Crystal Windows and Door Systems regional headquarters," and Mayor Evans adding, "This is economic development in action, and it would not be possible without the hard work of city and state staff showing why Mansfield and Texas are where businesses want to be."

The announcement of the new manufacturing facility in Mansfield signifies a significant milestone for Crystal Window and Door Systems, as well as for the local community and the state of Texas.
