AUSTIN, Texas – On Nov. 16, Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) is excited to share that Allegiant has announced a new nonstop route from AUS to the popular vacation destination, Eugene, Oregon. The route will launch on May 31, 2024 and will run seasonally through August on twice-weekly service from the airport's South Terminal.
“We're proud to join Allegiant in announcing a new destination starting next year,” said Ghizlane Badawi, deputy chief executive officer of AUS. “We are thrilled that Austin and Central Texas travelers will be able to fly direct to Eugene, Oregon, and are so grateful to Allegiant for their continued service to connecting our community to destinations across the country.”
This new nonstop service to Eugene Airport (EUG) connects Austinites and Central Texas travelers to a charming, artistic community, just two hours south of Portland. Eugene is known for its farmer's markets, vintage shopping and easy access to the Willamette National Forest and Oregon coast.
This new route joins Allegiant's 18 other nonstop destinations from AUS. Tickets are on sale now at AllegiantAir.com.

Journey With AUS is the Austin-Bergstrom Airport Expansion and Development program. The program is a strategic, phased approach to guiding construction and improvement projects, including select 2040 Master Plan projects and near-term improvements to address record-breaking growth at AUS. Journey With AUS projects will improve the passenger experience and meet the rising demand for air service at AUS through optimizing the Barbara Jordan Terminal through improvements that accommodate forecasted demand and enhance operations; expanding infrastructure to increase gates; constructing a new midfield concourse, and connecting tunnel. Driving regional economic recovery and supporting Austin’s growth is a primary goal of the program. The program will create jobs and provide opportunities for local businesses and the Minority-owned (MBE) and Woman-owned businesses (WBE) in the contracting community.
