Senator Cruz schedules executive session to review nominations and legislation

U.S. Senator Ted Cruz, who chairs the Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation, is set to hold a full committee Executive Session. This session is scheduled for April 30, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. EST.

The agenda includes several nominations and legislative items. Notably, the nominations of Olivia Trusty from Maryland as a Member of the Federal Communications Commission and Jared Isaacman from Pennsylvania as Administrator of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration will be considered.

The legislative items to be discussed include the Sunshine Protection Act of 2025, LICENSE Act of 2025, MAIN Event Ticketing Act, Foreign Adversary Communications Transparency Act, and Combating CCP Labor Abuses Act of 2025, among others.
