Rep. Roger Williams, serving the 25th district of Texas since 2013, recently shared updates from his various meetings and initiatives through a series of social media posts. Williams, a Weatherford resident and a graduate of Texas Christian University, communicated his engagements and political activities on his official account.
On April 16, 2025, Williams expressed his pleasure in joining the Johnson County Builders Association Luncheon "to connect with members, answer questions, and discuss the current state of the economy and its impact on small businesses in the building industry."
Later that day, Williams reported on a meeting with Dublin Bottling Works leadership and Erath County Judge, Brandon Huckabee. He noted "This afternoon, I met with the leadership of Dublin Bottling Works and the Erath County Judge, Brandon Huckabee, for a tour and update. I shared the latest on my work in D.C. as Chairman of @HouseSmallBiz advocating for Main Street."
On April 17, 2025, Williams announced the introduction of a resolution in recognition of National #2ADay. He stated, "In honor of National #2ADay, I introduced a resolution reaffirming support for the Second Amendment and commending @POTUS' actions to protect American gun owners."
Williams, born in Evanston, Illinois in 1949, continues to actively participate in political discourse and legislative advocacy.
