The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) has announced the addition of Joseph Harris to the Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitives List. A reward of up to $3,000 is being offered by Texas Crime Stoppers for information leading to his arrest, with all tips guaranteed to remain anonymous.
Joseph Joshua Harris, aged 18 and from Converse, has been wanted in Bexar County since February 24, 2025. He faces charges including capital murder by terror threat and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. His criminal record includes previous arrests and charges for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, theft of a firearm, evading arrest or detention, unlawful carrying of a weapon, burglary of vehicles, and engaging in organized criminal activity. Harris is described as being 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighing approximately 150 pounds.
Texas Crime Stoppers, funded by the Governor’s Public Safety Office, offers cash rewards for information that leads to the arrest of individuals on the Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitives list. So far this year, DPS and other agencies have arrested 14 fugitives from this list, including three sex offenders and four criminal illegal immigrants. A total of $20,000 has been paid out in rewards for tips that resulted in these arrests.
To qualify for cash rewards, tipsters must provide information using one of three specified methods. Regardless of how they are submitted, all tips remain anonymous with tipsters receiving a tip number instead of using their name.
The DPS collaborates with local law enforcement agencies to select individuals for inclusion on the Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitives list. Current lists and photos can be accessed online.
Authorities caution against attempting to apprehend these fugitives as they are considered armed and dangerous.
