On March 7, 2025, Rep. Roy highlighted a case involving an illegal alien charged with possessing substantial quantities of methamphetamine, heroin, and firearms. He emphasized the necessity for localities to collaborate with federal authorities to remove all criminal aliens: "An illegal alien was charged with possessing 20 combined kilos of METH, HEROIN, and FIREARMS. Localities MUST work with federal authorities to remove ALL criminal aliens."

In another tweet dated March 8, 2025, Rep. Roy discussed government operations under President Trump and prominent figures like Elon Musk and Russ Vought. He advocated for a temporary freeze on government spending to facilitate bureaucratic reforms: "President Trump, @DOGE, @elonmusk, and @russvought need the government lights on to continue firing bureaucrats and tackling wasteful government spending." He proposed a six-month spending freeze to enable these efforts.

On March 9, 2025, Rep. Roy addressed what he perceives as Democratic obstruction against a clean Continuing Resolution (CR). He defended President Trump's initiatives aimed at reducing inefficiencies within the government: "Rep. Roy on Democrat obstruction efforts of the clean CR: 'If they want to go shut the government down...'"
