On December 3, 2024, Rep. Williams expressed concern over the low compliance rate of small businesses in Texas with the BOI rule. He stated that "Only 14.2% of small businesses in Texas have submitted compliance with the BOI rule." He highlighted that this "alarmingly low rate" indicates many small business owners are either unaware of these requirements or find them complex to navigate.
The following day, on December 4, 2024, Rep. Williams extended his gratitude towards a colleague by tweeting "To my friend, @PatrickMcHenry, Chairman of @FinancialCmte, thank you for your friendship and leadership."
On December 5, 2024, Rep. Williams showed his support for local football teams by wishing them well before their competition. His tweet read: "Good luck to @brock_football and @SteersFootball as they compete tomorrow night. May the best team win! "
