Rep. Chip Roy, who represents Texas' 21st District in the U.S. Congress, recently expressed his views on several pressing issues through a series of tweets. The posts reflect his stance on gender identity debates and legislative priorities concerning free speech and life.

On November 20, 2024, Rep. Roy addressed the ongoing debate regarding gender identity in public spaces. He stated that if Congress cannot resolve the issue of defining gender clearly, it is unreasonable to expect clarity across the nation. His statement was made during a discussion with Jenna Ellis, as noted in his tweet: "If we can't deal with [the bathroom debate] in Congress – if we can't be clear that a man is a man, a woman is a woman – …we can't expect the rest of the country to treat it as such."

Later that day, Rep. Roy encouraged his followers to read an article from The Daily Signal by sharing its link on Twitter: "Read the full @DailySignal story now⤵️"

In another post on November 20, 2024, Rep. Roy called for congressional action to repeal the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances (FACE) Act through his proposed bill H.R. 5577. He emphasized the need for Republicans to support both free speech and life: "Republicans are going to have to get the nerve to actually stand up for both free speech and life."
