U.S. Senator Ted Cruz, Representative Michael Cloud, and Texas State Representative Stan Gerdes have expressed strong criticism of the Biden-Harris administration following a fatal incident in Bastrop County, Texas. A Texan was killed by a drunk driver who had been deported twice previously but managed to re-enter the United States during the current administration.

Senator Cruz commented on the situation stating, “Yet another Texan is dead directly because of the Biden-Harris border crisis. Texans deserve answers about why this illegal alien was allowed back into our country after being deported twice.” He emphasized that such crimes are "avoidable" and criticized the administration's approach to border policies.

Representative Cloud also voiced his concerns, saying, “Another family’s worst nightmare has come to pass, and it’s directly because of the Biden-Harris Administration’s reckless, open-border policies." He questioned how many more American citizens would be affected before action is taken.

State Representative Gerdes shared his perspective on the impact within his community: “What happened to Grayson Davis and his grieving family was completely avoidable. Our entire community is heartbroken." He announced plans to introduce new legislation named 'Grayson's Law' aimed at addressing illegal immigrant crime at the state level.

The suspect involved in this incident had been deported once under each of the previous administrations but returned illegally under current immigration policies.
