The Excel Center (for Adults) welcomed 1,060 students in 2022-23 school year

There were 1,060 students enrolled in The Excel Center (for Adults) schools in the 2022-23 school year, 14.8% more than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2022-23 school year, 55.7% of them were girls, and 44.3% were boys.

Data also shows that the majority of students were Hispanic, representing 55.9% of the The Excel Center (for Adults) total enrollment.

The Excel Center (for Adults) roughly covers schools within Travis County with its main office in Austin.

Among the five schools in The Excel Center (for Adults), The Excel Center (for Adults) recorded the highest enrollment of 475 students in the 2022-23 school year.

Texas is found to be one of the least-educated states in the U.S. A study from WalletHub ranked Texas 41st out of 50 states in terms of the quality of the educational system and how successful students were.

More than 5.4 million students are enrolled in public schools across Texas. Nearly one million of them live in rural areas where options for local public schools are few and far between.
