There were 555 students enrolled in University of Texas University Charter School in the 2022-23 school year, 4.3% more than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2022-23 school year, 52.1% of them were girls, and 47.9% were boys.

The most represented ethnicity among University of Texas University Charter School students was white, accounting for 45.6% of the student population.

University of Texas University Charter School roughly covers schools within Travis County with its main office in Austin.

Among the 21 schools in University of Texas University Charter School, Methodist Children's Home recorded the highest enrollment of 80 students in the 2022-23 school year.

Education in Texas is often a hot button issue, especially as test scores lag behind other states.

"The problems commonly cited are flaws in the school financing system, relatively low teacher salary, poor test performance by students... dropouts from traditional schools in favor of charter schools... gun violence, and mental health issues," claimed the Texas Almanac.
