Cruz, emphasizing the importance of the bill in stabilizing the federal judiciary and reinforcing the independence of federal judges.
Sen. Hirono echoed these sentiments, stating, "By making several long-standing temporary judgeships permanent, this bill will help provide certainty and stability to federal courts in Hawaii and other states across the country."
Representative Gooden highlighted the efficiency that the Federal Judiciary Stabilization Act would bring to federal courts, emphasizing the commitment to upholding the rule of law and the independence of the judiciary.
Similarly, Rep. Lieu expressed his satisfaction with co-leading the bipartisan and bicameral bill, noting the importance of providing greater stability for judgeships in California and other states by making existing federal judgeships permanent.
