Having received multiple accolades for her contributions to education, including awards such as the Junior Achievement teacher of the year award and the HEAT hospitality teacher of the year award, Weir's commitment to excellence is evident. Her educational background, including a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Abilene Christian University, further solidifies her qualifications for her new position on the State Board for Educator Certification.
