There were 923 students enrolled in The Excel Center (for Adults) schools in the 2021-22 school year, 17.9% more than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2021-22 school year, 64.2% of them were girls, and 35.8% were boys.

Data also shows that the majority of students were Hispanic, representing 55.9% of the The Excel Center (for Adults) total enrollment.

The Excel Center (for Adults) roughly covers schools within Travis County with its main office in Austin.

Among the five schools in The Excel Center (for Adults), The Excel Center (for Adults) recorded the highest enrollment of 433 students in the 2021-22 school year.

The Texas education system is currently torn between public schools and taxpayer-funded private schools.

Critics argue that private schools use funds that should go to the public school system, while private school advocates claim they’re offering better education for more Texas students.
