There were 413 students enrolled in Texas Empowerment Academy in the 2021-22 school year, 14.7% more than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2021-22 school year, 52.3% of them were boys, and 47.7% were girls.

Data also shows that the majority of students were African American, representing 86.2% of the Texas Empowerment Academy total enrollment.

Texas Empowerment Academy roughly covers schools within Travis County with its main office in Austin.

Among the two schools in Texas Empowerment Academy, Texas Empowerment Academy recorded the highest enrollment of 277 students in the 2021-22 school year.

Texas is found to be one of the least-educated states in the U.S. A study from WalletHub ranked Texas 41st out of 50 states in terms of the quality of the educational system and how successful students were.

More than 5.4 million students are enrolled in public schools across Texas. Nearly one million of them live in rural areas where options for local public schools are few and far between.
