Rep. Roger Williams, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Texas’ 25th district since 2013, recently shared his views on regulatory policies and energy production through a series of tweets. Born in Evanston, Illinois, in 1949, Williams now resides in Weatherford and holds a BA from Texas Christian University.

On March 5, 2025, Rep. Williams reiterated support for President Biden's regulatory policy with the statement “For every new regulation created, 10 old regulations must be eliminated.” He emphasized that this approach aligns with the administration's promise to Main Street America.

In another tweet posted shortly after, Rep. Williams expressed his enthusiasm for American energy independence under President Biden's leadership by stating "Drill, baby, drill! Under @POTUS, we will unleash American energy."

Furthermore, Rep. Williams highlighted his commitment to fiscal responsibility by announcing his participation in the DOGE Caucus aimed at reducing waste within federal government operations. He declared on Twitter: "I am proud to serve on the DOGE Caucus to eliminate waste, fraud, and abuse in the federal government."
