Rep. Chip Roy, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Texas' 21st district, recently expressed his views on various issues through a series of tweets. Known for his conservative stance, Rep. Roy addressed concerns about government spending and judicial authority.

On February 13, 2025, Rep. Roy criticized the allocation of taxpayer funds towards specific cultural projects abroad. He remarked, "It's pretty shocking that my Democrat colleagues find it to be troubling if you identify and find out that $32,000 of taxpayer money is going to fund transgender comic books in Peru, that somehow that's a bad thing," highlighting his disapproval of such expenditures.

In another tweet on the same day, he commented on the judiciary's role in presidential powers: "I don't believe judges, courts have the authority or power to stick their nose into the constitutional authority of the president," expressing his belief in maintaining clear boundaries between branches of government.

Later that day, Rep. Roy supported a budget proposal by Chairman Jodey Arrington aimed at reducing government spending. He stated: "This budget put forward by the Chairman @RepArrington is a giant step forward to reduce spending, the primary driver of inflation and the expansion of government largesse that is strangling the future of our children and grandchildren," advocating for fiscal responsibility as essential for future generations.
