Rep. Chip Roy, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Texas’ 21st district, has shared a series of tweets addressing various political and fiscal issues. The tweets reflect his stance on national debt, law enforcement support for the Trump administration, and immigration control measures.

On February 8, 2025, Rep. Chip Roy tweeted about the national debt crisis stating: “With $36 trillion in debt, we have to get our fiscal House in order; but we can start right now with getting rid of USAID.” This tweet suggests eliminating the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) as a starting point for addressing the national debt.

On February 9, 2025, he emphasized the importance of law and order by tweeting: "The American people believe in law and order. Congress needs to back the Trump administration up in giving it to them." He further advocated for border security and immediate passage of enforcement funding by stating: "Secure the border. Codify the EOs. Pass enforcement funding ASAP."

On February 10, 2025, Rep. Roy proposed a measure involving inter-agency cooperation between IRS and ICE through another tweet: "Next step: REQUIRE the IRS to share its records with ICE to detect illegal aliens using stolen Social Security numbers to unlawfully work in the U.S." He emphasized identifying and removing individuals working illegally by misusing social security numbers.
