U.S. Senator John Cornyn from Texas has expressed his support following the confirmation of Russell Vought as Director of the Office of Management and Budget (OMB). In a statement, Senator Cornyn criticized President Joe Biden's economic management and endorsed Vought's return to the role he previously held during President Trump's first term.
“It’s no secret that Joe Biden’s handling of our economy was a disaster. As the Director of OMB during President Trump’s first term, Russ Vought is the right choice to assume the role once again and get our federal agencies back on track,” stated Senator Cornyn.
Russell Vought's confirmation marks his reappointment to lead the OMB, a position responsible for overseeing the implementation of the President's vision across the Executive Branch.
