AUSTIN – U.S. Senator John Cornyn has criticized Vice President Kamala Harris' recent visit to Houston, Texas. In a statement released today, Cornyn described the trip as "too little, too late" for Texans affected by what he terms as Harris' "reckless open-border policies" and significant inflation over the past three and a half years.

Cornyn pointed out that under Harris' oversight as Border Czar, "millions of migrants have illegally entered our country," including two individuals in Houston who were involved in the tragic incident involving 12-year-old Jocelyn Nungaray. He also mentioned the ongoing issue of drug trafficking, particularly fentanyl, which he claims has resulted in over 100,000 American deaths within a year.

According to Cornyn, Harris will not address these concerns during her visit but will instead attempt to divert attention from her role as Vice President.
