There were 206 white students enrolled in The Excel Center (for Adults) School District in the 2022-23 school year, 12.6% more than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Data showed that The Excel Center (for Adults) School District welcomed 1,060 students during the 2022-23 school year. Among them, white students comprised 19.4% of the student body to be one of the most represented ethnicities in the district.

The Excel Center (for Adults) School District roughly covers schools within Travis County and has a main office in Austin.

Among the five schools in The Excel Center (for Adults) School District, The Excel Center for Adults - Lockhart recorded the highest enrollment of white students in the 2022-23 school year, with a total of 89 students.

The Texas education system is currently torn between public schools and taxpayer-funded private schools.

Critics argue that private schools use funds that should go to the public school system, while private school advocates claim they’re offering better education for more Texas students.
