On Saturday, December 30, former Evit - Mesquite High School standout, Shaylee Gonzales’ current college team, the Texas Longhorns, lost 79-85 in their NCAA D1 game against the Baylor Lady Bears.

The game took place in Austin, Texas. This was the first matchup against the Baylor Lady Bears this season.
