This week, Senator Ted Cruz took a stand against what he calls the "radical left" and the Biden administration's immigration policies. In a press release, Cruz announced that he led 177 of his colleagues in Congress in filing a bicameral Supreme Court amicus brief in the case Donald J. Trump v. Norma Anderson, et al. The brief seeks to reverse the Colorado Supreme Court's decision to keep Donald Trump off the ballot in Colorado, which Cruz believes wrongfully bypassed Congress's role in administering Section 3 of the 14th Amendment.

Speaking about the case, Cruz stated, "The decision is yet another attempt by the radical left to threaten the merits of our democracy. I’m proud to have led my colleagues in urging the U.S. Supreme Court to reverse the Colorado Supreme Court’s decision and protect our democratic process."

Cruz also appeared on Fox Business' Varney & Co. to discuss his concerns about the Biden administration's immigration policies. He accused President Biden of defying the law and enabling the drug cartels' human trafficking network on the southern border. Cruz said, "What Biden is doing no president in the history of our country has ever done. He's just utterly defying the law. He is essentially saying, ‘I don't care what the law says. I'm going to let everyone go.’ Joe Biden and Kamala Harris are the last mile of the human trafficking network, and they are sending illegal immigrants to every city in America."

Senator Cruz further criticized the Biden administration's judicial nominee selections during a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing. He accused the administration of appointing radical and extreme judges to the federal bench, with no Democrat willing to vote against them. Cruz expressed his disappointment, saying, "He is consistently seeking people who are extreme, who are partisans, and who are out of the mainstream. Today we are voting on several judges whose records, quite frankly, are extraordinary. And it is consistently disappointing that no matter what a judge has done, [no matter what] a judicial nominee has done, and no matter how extreme their record is, the Democrats on this committee will vote in favor of those nominees."

Senator Cruz concluded his statement by reaffirming his commitment to fighting against the Biden administration's agenda. He stated, "Rest assured, I am committed to fighting back against the Biden administration’s radical agenda."

In summary, Senator Ted Cruz has filed a Supreme Court amicus brief, criticizing the Colorado Supreme Court's decision to keep Donald Trump off the ballot in Colorado. He has also voiced his concerns about the Biden administration's immigration policies, accusing them of defying the law and enabling human trafficking. Furthermore, Cruz has criticized the administration's judicial nominee selections, claiming they are extreme and out of the mainstream. Cruz remains committed to opposing the Biden administration's agenda.
