Austin (Travis County) home valuations rose in Q2

The median assessed value of a home sold in the second quarter of 2022 in Austin in Travis County rose by $43,672 while total valuation increased by 21.6 percent, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June, there were 812 homes sold, with a median home valuation of $373,929 - a 13.2 percent increase over the $330,257 median valuation for the same period of the previous year. There were 668 homes sold in Austin in the second quarter of 2021.
