Osidon, the world's only digital online accountant, launched the company's first U.S. endeavor from its new Austin headquarters.
A press release said the company, started by Hennie Ferreira in 2017, is a state-of-the-art accounting service online at the forefront of "revolutionizing accounting, tax (and) payroll with a focus on helping small- to medium-sized businesses and entrepreneurs,
"Austin is one of the largest, developing tech hubs in the world," Ferreira said. "The city is seeing a huge influx of tech companies from all over the U.S. and the world, and this is definitely an attractive place for us. We are at the forefront of this industry, and we are revolutionizing accounting services for entrepreneurs. This is why it makes sense for us to operate in one of the biggest emerging tech markets in the world."
Osidon uses the latest AI and Cloud technologies to build groundbreaking software and accounting functions that are executed by "an intelligent system" while clients are also assigned an actual U.S.-based associate to help with other services and support.
"We are passionate about entrepreneurs and small and medium-sized businesses, aiming to remove obstacles, empowering them to create job opportunities, contribute to the economy and society and to focus on their success," Ferreira said.
Moving accounting to automation for companies can allow for greater efficiency and affordability on a larger scale. Osidon's clients, while focusing on other important aspects, can rely on Osidon to deal with compliance issues and "red tape" of accounting.
"Osidon is an official corporate partner of the Institute of Management Accountants in the USA, our accountants are CPAs or enrolled agents admitted to practice before the IRS, and we are a technology partner of Xero and Gusto," the release said.
