Austin Emergency Supply Foundation distributes 400,000 free face masks

The Austin Emergency Supply Foundation (AESF) is offering 400,000 free masks to small businesses and organizations that cannot afford them at this time.

Those who need the masks for free can send their request through an online form.

The foundation is also offering three-ply masks for only 38 cents to those who can afford to buy them, and are likewise offering them for 76 cents for those who wish to provide a free mask to those who wish to donate one for each mask they purchase, according to the Austin Chamber of Commerce.

AESF has donated 40,000 disposable masks to Capital Metro to give out to passengers and the Austin Police Department has also received 25,000 masks for distribution from the foundation.

Donations are likewise accepted through the foundation’s website.

The Austin Emergency Supply Foundation is a 501(c)3 charity formed by Austinites to help the city respond to these trying times.
