The University Interscholastic League (UIL) has announced that the 2026 UIL Wrestling State Championships will take place on February 13-14 at the Berry Center in Cypress, Texas.
Boys matches for Conference 5A and 6A are scheduled to start at 8:30 a.m. on Friday, with girls matches for the same conferences beginning at 11 a.m. On Saturday, boys will again compete starting at 8:30 a.m., while girls’ matches will begin at 10:30 a.m. The Parade of Champions is set for 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, followed by all championship matches. Media outlets interested in covering the event must submit an online credential request by noon on Thursday, February 12. According to UIL instructions, “The Wrestling Media Credential Request form can be found online at: https://app.smartsheet.com/b/form/019bb2f21984762e8f718113cab44b03. Requests should specify which school(s) your media outlet will be covering and list all representatives of your media outlet covering the event.”
Doors to the Berry Center will open one hour before wrestling begins each day. Tickets are available as general admission only, with day passes priced at $15 and all-tournament passes available for $25. Tickets can be purchased online starting February 10 at 8:00 a.m.
Coaches who are members of THSCA can buy All-Tournament Passes for $20 in person with proper identification; payment is accepted by credit card only.
Spectators can access schedules, team profiles, live stats, and other information through the official UIL State mobile app, which is free to download from both the App Store and Google Play.
For those unable to attend in person, NFHS Network will provide a live webcast of all tournament matches from the Berry Center on February 13-14. As stated by UIL, “Fans, family and alumni unable to attend matches can watch all matches of the UIL Wrestling State Tournament live online with a subscription HERE. Subscribers can also watch on the go by downloading the NFHS Network app for iPhone and Android devices.”
