Texas Track & Field ends 44 Farms Invitational with win and personal bests

Texas Track & Field concluded its participation on April 11 at the 44 Farms Team Invitational at E.B. Cushing Stadium in College Station, Texas, achieving a victory and several personal-best performances.

The event saw Shaiquan Dunn secure first place in the men’s shot put with a lifetime-best throw of 18.55 meters (60-10.5). Benjamin contributed to the team’s results by finishing fifth in the same event with a mark of 16.89 meters (55-5).

On the track, Troy achieved a personal best in the men’s 400 meters, winning his heat and placing tenth overall with a time of 47.19 seconds.

The team is scheduled to compete next week at two separate events: the Bryan Clay Invitational in Azusa, California from April 16-18 and the Tom Jones Invitational in Gainesville, Florida from April 17-18.

These results reflect ongoing progress for Texas Track & Field as athletes continue to improve their marks during this part of the season.
