Texas Beach Volleyball was awarded the No. 3 seed in the 2026 Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF) Beach Volleyball Championship, according to an announcement from the conference on April 19.

The seeding marks Texas’s first appearance in the MPSF Championship, which will take place from April 22 to April 24 at Spiker Beach in Huntington Beach, California. The event is considered a significant milestone for the team as it enters postseason play within this conference structure.

Tournament play for Texas will begin with a match against No. 6 seed Grand Canyon on Wednesday, April 22 at noon Central Time. The winner of that contest will advance to face either No. 2 seed UCLA, No. 7 seed LSU or No. 10 seed San José State on Thursday.

Semifinal and championship matches are scheduled for Friday, April 24. According to organizers, all three matches on Friday will be broadcast live on Big Ten Network and every match throughout the tournament will be available via streaming service B1G+.

This appearance gives Texas an opportunity to compete against top-ranked teams in their conference and gain further experience at a high level of collegiate beach volleyball competition.
