Common Cause is set to host the first in a series of press briefings titled "Protecting Democracy in the South." The focus will be on voting rights concerns and legislative updates for southern states.
Scheduled for Tuesday, January 14 at 12:00 p.m. ET, state leaders will outline new voting rights, ethics, and other democracy-related policy issues they are monitoring as the legislative session approaches at the state level.
The briefing will feature state leaders and policy experts from Common Cause North Carolina, Common Cause Texas, and Common Cause Florida. The event will take place via Zoom.
