U.S. Senators Ted Cruz from Texas, Steve Daines from Montana, and their colleagues have announced the passage of a bipartisan resolution recognizing National Park Week, set for April 19th through April 27th in 2025. The resolution calls for Americans to visit and support the national parks.
Senator Cruz commented, “America is home to some of the most beautiful natural treasures on earth, like the Guadalupe Mountains in Salt Flat, Texas, which has the highest peak in the Lone Star State. I’m proud to join my colleagues in celebrating our incredible national parks.”
Senator Daines added, “Our beloved national parks are the crown jewels of America. From Yellowstone to Glacier, Montana boasts some of the most stunning landscapes in the world, and as a fifth-generation Montanan I’m proud to call this state home. This year during National Park Week, we celebrate our beautiful parks and encourage folks to get outside and enjoy the great outdoors.”
