Rep. Roger Williams, a U.S. Congressman representing Texas’ 25th district since 2013, has recently shared his views on social media regarding the early actions of President Trump in office. Born in Evanston, Illinois, and currently residing in Weatherford, Williams is an alumnus of Texas Christian University.
On January 21, 2025, Rep. Williams expressed his approval of President Trump’s initial actions by stating: “President Trump has reversed four years of failures on day one. The golden age of America has begun. Thank you, @POTUS! “
The following day, January 22, 2025, he emphasized the importance of border security with a post saying: “During his first few days in the White House, @POTUS has made it clear that border security is national security. “
Later that same day, Rep. Williams commented on energy policy under the new administration by stating: “Under @POTUS, we will unleash the power of American energy.”
