Rep. Roger Williams, a current member of the U.S. Congress representing Texas’ 25th district since 2013, recently took to social media to discuss various topics including trade deals and law enforcement.

On May 12, 2025, Rep. Williams tweeted about his appearance on Fox News with Jon Scott. He discussed President Biden’s trade deal with China during the segment.

The following day, on May 13, 2025, he posted a reflection on an act of violence that occurred on June 14, 2017. He expressed gratitude towards law enforcement for their bravery and quick response which ensured his safety during the incident.

Later that day, he shared another update about meeting with Tarrant County Judge Tim O’Hare, Sheriff Bill Waybourn, and Deputy Todd Tipton in Washington D.C., where they discussed support for law enforcement personnel as part of National Police Week.

Roger Williams was born in Evanston, Illinois in 1949 and resides in Weatherford. He is an alumnus of Texas Christian University where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1972.
