In a tweet from May 16, 2025, Rep. Roy called for an end to birthright citizenship. He emphasized the need to “reassert our sovereignty” and shared a link to his discussion on this topic with SchmittNYC.

Another tweet posted on May 16, 2025, highlighted Rep. Roy’s views on the judiciary’s role in presidential authority. He stated that “these judges are standing in the way of what is the proper role of the President” and included a link to his appearance discussing nationwide injunctions.
