On Friday, April 18, former James Bowie High School standout Emma Solis’ current college team, the Morehead State Eagles, lost 12-7 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Lindenwood Lions.
The game took place at University Field. This was their third matchup against the Lions this season.
The Eagles’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 26 at 4:05 p.m. at University Field against Western Illinois Leathernecks.

Three Texas Longhorns baseball players—Sam Cozart, Anthony Pack Jr., and Dylan Volantis—have been selected for the USA Baseball Collegiate National Team Training Camp this summer. The camp features top college talent competing for spots on the national team that will play internationally.
Dylan Volantis struck out eleven as Texas defeated Missouri at UFCU Disch-Falk Field. The Longhorns’ offense delivered key runs late while Sam Cozart closed out the win.
