U.S. Senator Ted Cruz, who chairs the Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation, has scheduled a nomination hearing for Howard Lutnick. Lutnick is President Donald Trump’s nominee for U.S. Secretary of Commerce. The hearing will occur after an executive session to discuss committee rules for the 119th Congress, set to begin at 10:00 AM EST on January 29, 2025.
