Texas women’s golf players Farah O’Keefe and Lauren Kim have been named to the 2026 Arnold Palmer Cup teams, according to a May 5 announcement. O’Keefe will represent Team USA for the third time, while Kim will join Team International for her second appearance.
The Arnold Palmer Cup is a notable event in collegiate golf, bringing together top men’s and women’s university golfers from the United States and around the world. The selection of O’Keefe and Kim highlights their achievements this season.
O’Keefe was part of Team USA that won the Arnold Palmer Cup in 2024, while Kim played on Team International when they claimed victory in 2025. Texas head coach Laura Ianello will serve as Co-Head Coach for Team USA. The tournament is scheduled to take place July 3-5 at Tralee Golf Links in West Barrow, Ireland.
O’Keefe has been recognized as the 2026 SEC Golfer of the Year and is currently ranked No. 1 in women’s college golf as well as No. 4 on the world amateur ranking list. She has won three collegiate events this season and finished in the top-10 at all ten of her collegiate tournaments. Additionally, she was the low amateur at the Chevron Championship on the LPGA tour and has secured a spot on Team USA for the upcoming Curtis Cup.
Kim has achieved top-10 finishes in three of her last four events with a T12 finish at the SEC Championship. She was runner-up at Charles Schwab Women’s Collegiate and placed seventh at Darius Rucker Intercollegiate, contributing to a team title for Texas Longhorns Women’s Golf. Kim recently qualified for her third U.S. Women’s Open appearance.
The Texas Longhorns are set to compete next at NCAA Regional Championship from May 11-13 in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
